So I'm the only one that noticed Chloe Fineman's shorts during the Britney Spears bit?

It's always interesting to me to see who gets Emmy noms for SNL guests spots. They don't have to host, even appearing just in one bit can count. The year it's Maya Rudolph, Phoebe Waller Bridge, Adam Driver, Brad Pitt, and Eddie Murphy.
Kenan, Kate, and Cecily are all nominated for supporting roles. Kate has won twice and Baldwin also has a supporting Emmy for his take on Trump. Only three cast members (Chevy, Gilda, and Dana Carvey) have won for their SNL work.

Just read this morning how having all episodes from all seasons proved to be too costly for Peacock, so now they're only having those "Best Of" videos and everything from the last five years on there.

That was pretty much the only reason I was gonna sign up. Now it looks like I can save my money.

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I never would have guessed Carey as Biden but I'm looking forward to Maya playing Kamala. I would love to see her host again. Looks Carey will play Biden the whole season?
SNL starts back Oct. 3 with five straight new episodes through the election.

Maya Rudolph and Eddie Murphy won, their first Emmy for each of them.

Read an article this morning that Peacock will have all 40-whatever seasons on the platform starting Saturday. The article seemed to keep making a point to say all seasons and never mentioned whether or not all episodes from a season would be included.

They may end up with my money yet.

Watched the opening skit and the monologue. Carey killed it. Chris Rock did not. I was hoping for something like Chappelle’s post-election monologue. How did he not even mention Breonna Taylor? Huge swing and a miss.

You're kidding right? Should they all have taken a knee before the cold open too?

I thought it was a very average episode. The cold open seemed to go on forever. Carrey played Biden fairly straight, specially compared to Baldwin's broad Trump. I too had higher hopes for Rock; he's done better.
Bill Burr hosts for the first time next week.
