im not in love with the end...its ok but kinda reminds me of Marker or UK.

Im a little disappointed in mikes offering. I have enjoyed the music he's been making for movie soundtracks. Was hoping he'd bring something along those lines.

His playing on the album is "pure fire" so im sure he's fine but ......

I am almost certainly way off base but I feel like because Mike was never really a songwriter he tries to write for the band instead of just writing shit that excites him. And the results have shown.

I LOVE that middle section of Quick Escape with the "intercom" voice overs. It was giving me a Yankee Hotel Foxtrot sound with the keys over the top of that chaotic break down.

This was my completely baseless thought as well.

I'm actually disappointed this leaked right now because I just listened to the Alright snippet on IG and it sounds amazing and now we get robbed of the daily unveiling.

They really fucking did it. Those first six songs, my god. And then the next three are good, at least, if less immediately so to my ears. The 18-minute final quarter needs to grow on me a bit, but each of those songs get where they need to eventually.
