Phantom Thread. What's RM's take on this?

I think most of us thought it was fine but slightly disappointing. Evenslow really loved it, LV detested it, I thought the score was better than the movie... that was the range of reactions

Tully was mostly good but I was super bummed out about the boring and overdone turn near the end. It could've been so much more

Just re watched it. I saw two other times and with each view im more and more surprised on how depressed and shitty Theron´s character is. She is so fuckin good and the fact that her character was about to actually try to change and didnt its a huge kudos to both Reitman and Cody.

Up In The Air is amazing. Another example of a movie with a very flawed main character and a very sour ending. And handled so so good.

Juno hasnt aged well...but Up In The Air, Young Adult and Tully are amazing.

yeah i think this is my problem too. i love him when he does hammy stuff like in the Coen bros films, but his dramatic work is pretty boring to me
