I started a last run through of botw in preparation for this!

Still stuck on 7 Korok seeds.

In BOTW didn't shrines usually have two chest? I only ever find one in the new one. Am I missing them or is it just one?

I don't know why but I really don't care about Korok seeds. I get some so I can add slots but I've prob found half a dozen that I didnt bother to get and just kept going. I can't pass the ones where they need help getting to their friends though I'm not a monster.

Most have just 1. After you complete the shrine, you can check if you got everything by checking the map. If the shrine's name has a treasure chest after it, you got everything.

The Muddle Bud is now my favorite thing. If you attach one to an arrow and shoot it into a group of enemies, it confuses them and they start attacking each other. It is funny to watch.

I must say, Zelda's golden horse is absolutely gorgeous .

on track to get the master sword soon. helped out great deku tree and it weren't easy

Pro tip: there is a bubbul gem in every cave. So don’t leave a cave without finding it! Your cave will have a check mark next to it if you found it

I haven't played this in almost a week and it feels like I've let everyone down.

Is the check-mark solely based on the bubbul gem? Or do you need to open all the chests too?

Just based on the bubbul gem.

Poes are infinite, right? There isn't like a "collect them all" thing going on with them, I hope?

I assume poes respawn when you zone out / zone in or with a blood moon. I mean they are a short distance source of light. It would be tougher to navigate without them.
