Making us wait
How fucking awesome (and entirely infuriating) would it be if all 12 of those songs are as good as CC and LiR. They released the wrong album i betnikull wrote:While I would love to see Of The Earth on this album, according to this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pearl_Jam_(album) wiki, the song was one of twelve outtakes from the Avocado Album.
Is anyone else having problems loading their twitter page? I'm at work and trying to check it on my phone. Had no issues the previous 3 days though.harmless wrote:What if we don't get any songs today
Hahaha at least at the beginning of the song there's a dark pattern, minor chords, Mike's (or is it Stone's?) background guitars...don't say dark but it isn't funny or happy either.harmless wrote:Dark atmosphere? If you mean dark purple Hallmark card, then OKnikull wrote:harmless wrote:I prefer Gone actually, but OK, we can have Army Reserve and get rid of Gone.Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:im good with Army Reserve, Excellent song, but Gone, that one shouldnt have been put over top of one of those 3 songsharmless wrote:So they replaced Cold Confession, Let it Ride and Of The Earth with Inside Job, Army Reserve and Big Wave.
I think Inside Job is great for an album ending. That solo, the chorus, really dark / strong atmosphere. I don't care about Big Wave.
There is no album. This is just the band's way of telling us that life is short, don't spend it in front of a computer waiting for a silly title, get away and surf.harmless wrote:What if we don't get any songs today

That would be stupid if they did that; and I wouldn't want to respond. We've been bitching about stuff for the last 4 years and the 10C have done nothing to rectify it. I say let the uber-fans get over it.bluestate wrote:Maybe the negativity on twitter yesterday made them re-think their approach. Fantastic idea. Can't lose with a full blown shock and awe campaign.bluestate wrote:Maybe the negativity on twitter yesterday made them re-think their approach. We need to flood twitter with pleas for "more, more, more, now, now, now"!
I have a feeling they probably expected that reaction from a lot of the fanbase. I can't imagine the crap (requests, emails, demands, etc etc) they put up with on a daily basis from the bozos who follow this band.harmless wrote:That would be stupid if they did that; and I wouldn't want to respond. Fool us once, shame on them. Fool us twice... can't get fooled again.NothingBetterMan wrote:Fantastic idea.
