Well that has a lot to do with the players batting around them, but walking Bonds in 2001 was pretty much a necessity.

You didnt have to throw him a strike though, with Henderson there was nothing you could do. Pitch to him he goes deep, walk him and he steals 2nd and 3rd and then scores when someone puts the ball in play. The guy was amazing.
