I like it too, though I really, really hate those "rock n' roll!" bends Mike's doing during the intro.

They kind of ruin the song for me, just a little bit.

I find the "uh huh"s of Just Breathe kind of obtrusive, because Ed is not a real cowboy, but other than that, I think it's a really pretty song, cheesy pop chorus and all

the strings and the organ melody in the second verse, yeah this is working for me

honestly! Matt is playing fucking *reggae* offbeat groove on that high-hat on ATW; it's not FUCKIN ROCK because it's more dance and lilt than that

yes there's an obtrusive rock-tastic solo in the middle that doesn't fit but fuck it, I'm swimming baby

one of the big crits of ATW is that it never "takes off"; I actually think it does on the solo then last chorus, and it doesn't need to "take off" before that

I like "Unthought Known", but I find that high *plink* *plink* *plink* *plink* piano that plays through it kind of annoying

it literally never stops, it's relentless

low piano notes would be so much more powerful in this song (and right on the quiet outro, that's what I mean)

"Supersonic" is horrible, I just canNOT

SoS is great, I always thought so

and Matt is smashing a China cymbal during the "whisper in the dark" section; what a little shot of ear candy

I love the lead guitar melody in the interlude and the castanets (sp?); it's sounding like "Hopelessly Devoted to You" from Grease, and that's the shit baby

I used to think SoS was a weird jumble but now I think its sound spans 50s to 70s quite neatly
