The more I'm thinking about that final scene (I don't want to think about it, I just can't stop), I'm thinking that we're supposed to draw comparisons between this and Drago raping Dany in Season 1. Although their relationships are likely to go in opposite directions, I think Sansa is going to be on the rise very soon. Ramsay may have just "awoken the dragon beneath Winterfell," if you get my drift.

That ending was...uncomfortable. I actually yelled at a fictional character on my TV to intervene.

ah, so that's what those seemingly inconsequential scenes in the first 4 episodes were leading towards.
i loved the episode.
my only disappointment was that we didn't get more from the cersei/lady olenna exchange. but that's minor.

I felt the Dorne stuff was really rushed and TV-y.

The Sand Sisters are corny as hell. Probably my only gripe this season. I don't buy them for a second.

Totally agree. It's just not very good. Silly, rushed, forced, and unnecessary - which is unfortunate because they're so much better in the books.

Hopefully they are all mercilessly tortured and killed, and never speak again. Every line they speak is cringe-worthy.jwfocker wrote:15showsandcounting wrote:The Sand Sisters are corny as hell. Probably my only gripe this season. I don't buy them for a second.

I have a feeling that the Sand Snakes aren't going to be very consequential for the "big picture" in the TV series. Otherwise, they'd have spent more time casting them / introducing us to the characters. Not knocking the actresses or anything, but they haven't had much to do so far except scowl and talk about revenge. That was, like, the most poorly planned kidnappings ever (it went down in a much cooler way in the book).

Everything Dorne is so terrible on the show except for maybe Doran. Feels like being transported to a Xena episode while watching GOT. That dialogue, those fight scenes with whips and double daggers (that look like plastic) and terrible choreography.

Let's be Jamie Lannister and Bronn and get out of here and wander the countryside.Chris_H_2 wrote:hello friendE.H. Ruddock wrote:hey buddyChris_H_2 wrote:E.H.
