I saw PW for the first time recently, also, cause my wife loves it so much. I agree about her being perfect for the role. She's very comfortable and has great on screen chemistry with Gerbil Man. Good movie, but too light and fluffy for my taste.

It’s pure American fantasy, but I enjoyed it. Made me want to see more romcoms.

I had the thought when I was watching it: If this movie were made today, what are the chances Gerbil Man's role would be a strong, powerful, white man?

Yeah. I didn't know anything about it to I was surprised when it turned into a killer ant movie.

Kind of a little contrived. It felt like a straight person writing what they think it’s like to be growing up gay but by the end I was on board.
