I'm curious to see who is going to give him that contract.bada wrote:4/5 wrote:Shams says Horford isn't returning to Boston. Didn't see that coming.
Supposedly he has a 4 year $100 mil deal out there. If I was him I wouldn't turn that down and if I was Boston I wouldn't match it. Celtics are screwed for the foreseeable future no sense wasting money.

He will probably be the Knicks premiere free agent.Electromatic wrote:Monkey_Driven wrote:I'm curious to see who is going to give him that contract.bada wrote:4/5 wrote:Shams says Horford isn't returning to Boston. Didn't see that coming.

Me too. That seems like a lot for a 33 year old Al Horford? 4 years WOW! It might work pretty well in the near term in Houston but I don't think they want to spend that much, he's probably a good fit for San Antonio or he could go up to Milwaukee and reunite with coach Bud.
It's not that attractive to Boston, maybe the Knicks or Brooklyn too. He's a pretty good role player but 25 million dollars until he's 37, yeah I'd rather pay him on one or two year deals at this point.
That, would be awesome.Monkey_Driven wrote:He will probably be the Knicks premiere free agent.Electromatic wrote:Monkey_Driven wrote:I'm curious to see who is going to give him that contract.bada wrote:4/5 wrote:Shams says Horford isn't returning to Boston. Didn't see that coming.

That's what I'm hearing from the experts, but a couple of my more hardcore Blazer fan friends are complaining that he was trash at UNC this year. Whatever, we need wings so give him a shot.verb_to_trust wrote:Nasir Little is a good get for Portland.
