First prove you’re not a cop

Ya can't.
Some undercover cop even married and had children with an activist of the group he was infiltrating.

I read about that
It wouldn’t bother me so much except it turned out the second kid was actually a cop

It's definitely been widely circulated that Favs wanted to make a Boba Fett thing and the Lucasfilm story group shut that down. Whatever he wrote, he originally wrote with Boba Fett in mind. Same with IG-88 instead of IG-11.

I agree with this. Feels a lot like there could be a cool movie here. The series has that and then some other episodes just thrown in.

- Spoiler: show
- I may be misinterpreting what I saw and have read since but I believe Palpatine was able to heal himself by drawing on the power of Rey and Ben's dyad life energy (versus just absorbing their "run of the mill" force powers). Same goes for Rey being able to heal. If correct, does this then mean Baby Yoda is linked with someone?

I'm not sure that's an accurate reading of TROS.
So, my quick answer to your question is no. But I'm open to being swayed in a different direction.

- Spoiler: show
- If Palps could just heal himself via Rey, he wouldn't have been asking her to kill him before Ben showed up.

- Right. Palps didn't know about the dyad. That part you're right about (or at least that's the same way I took it). I was referring to the idea that Rey could heal JUST because she's a dyad. That's the part that I don't agree with.
