Sounds like a cute song you'd tack on the end of an album. I like it, don't get me wrong, I just don't see why it needed to be a single.

I actually liked the song. Its chill, relaxed. I liked the solo thats not a solo...im not sure if its just a single or a representation of whan an album might sound but it makes sense to record something like this if they have been doing a more acoustic approach to their material.

Single is good. Album announcement not too far off I imagine.

I really like this single. I something else for this band!

They are doing some interviews about the song. And yes, a new album will be announced 'soon'.
It's being described as more human. So I'm guessing less click track and more live performances.

Perhaps a bit more like most PJ records (especially something like Vitalogy or RA) or the last two Jack White records.

An approach I would really love for Qotsa!

yeah, i get that and i would love it....probably a more laid out approach to the music. I just hope they dont do another awful production like Villains and keep their sound direct and live.

Good chance that the new record drops in October.

Josh writing more human songs is not great for this band

Qotsa is best when it's meth fueled robot rock

Mostly agree, although ...Like Clockwork was very human and is an absolute masterpiece.

Also, it was released 13 years ago!? Fucking hell, man.

Clockwork is their best album
Villains is considerably their worst
Times New Roman was cool but I didn't listen as much as I should have

At least we all agree that Villains was dogshit*.

*"The Evil Has Landed" is a great song. A total outlier. The bass playing slaps and bangs. Don't even try to tell that song isn't the fucking business.
