the most exciting part of this entire saga for me is learning that boofing has been around since the early 80's at least. I wonder if this is an ancient tradition of sorts. I thought boofing was a relatively new frat boy thing to do.

While the Burts of the world are still on the “what so a man who keeps getting caught lying is somehow less believable than a woman now,” defense, the organization that chose him in the first place has moved on to the purest conservative endgame argument: “Why Brett Kavanaugh Should be Confirmed to the Supreme Court Even if He’s Guilty.”

What's the upside of publishing a piece like that at this point?

Normalise it. Or at least make it palletable.

‘So what if he did a few rapey things. We all have at some point when we were younger’.

So was "boof" before or after Teen Wolf? Because the numbers say it's close:

Boofing is shoving drugs up your ass.

Based on how stupid this guy sounded on John Oliver, he definitely had something up his ass in the courtroom. Whether it was drugs or dicks or a stick, who knows.

If nothing else good comes out of this, at least they finally cracked that 1985 ice throwing incident. I hope the victims get some kind of closure.

i cant say one way or the other if he raped anyone or not

however the way he reacted to everything to me is very telling. there is no way this guy can make a non-biased ruling without letting his personal emotions guide him

I don't think it really got covered much, in part because we've all become dulled to this kind of conspiratorial thinking on the right, but it's still pretty odd that within two minutes of his opening statement he's saying everything that has happened is some long con revenge scheme for the Clintons. We've had plenty of conservatives in the Court, but this guy is clearly a product of his time.
