I used to go to a lot of ROH shows so I am very familiar with him (also Zayn, Bryan, Cesaro and Rollins)

Really, I think the amount of ROH guys in WWE now is the main reason I am watching again.

i'm pumped about zayn too...are his promos at least better than d. bryan's?

Same here. I got back into wrestling hardcore because of guys like Punk, Bryan, Cesaro and Steen.

Zayn was pretty damn good in these. He has improved on his promos I think. He will never be great but he will get the story across.

I think Zayn is pretty good on the mic, he's a white meat babyface like Bryan, there isnt much room to be creative with that character. Owens is just the total package, I am really shocked at how WWE actually recognizes it. He's basically getting the push that Punk should have gotten.

nice opening segment on smackdown and especially strong promo for rollins...he would be so much better separate from the authority and i'm hoping they're hinting at a break up

I'm pumped for this Japan show they are having on the network. It looks like that's when they'll have Owens drop the belt to Balor, that should be a great match with Balor over big.

Not sure how I'd rank my top 5. I think all of these 5 are in there. Maybe Balor/Neville (the #1 contender match) would replace Lynch/Banks.

Owens v Cena and Reigns vs Bryan are my 1 and 2 so far this year. I rewatched Reigns/Bryan yesterday and Bryan carried him like a champ. Great match.

This reminds me. I was helping a friend with his wrestling blog and made my top 5 matches for every year from like 1984-2012. It was intense. I will try and find it later.

I could do that for certain years, but there are plenty of years I wasn't watching where I've only seen a few matches.

Lynch/Banks had the emotional pull that makes a match magic, that's why it ranks highly for me.

It was an excellent match no doubt. One of the best women's matches I have ever seen.

Probably the three best women's matches I've seen have been in NXT in the past year. I do remember a Trish/Lita match in like 05 that I thought was good at the time.
