I will forever be grateful to the car crash that was the pandemic home shows for finally breaking me of my Sunday morning SNL habit. Some good came of this pandemic at least

Another forgettable episode.
Did they announce a host for next week?

I always watch the cold open and the news on YouTube. Haven't been bothered to watch the actual skits in quite a while.

It's Adele. She's not pulling double duty though, H.E.R is the musical guest.

I haven't watched this one yet. But I did just watch last week's episode. It was super uneven and mostly forgettable but I think Issa Rae was really good in the few skits she was actually in.

They just need to cancel this show. Wouldn't syndicated Frasier reruns be better for us all?

I liked that episode. Maybe expectations were low? Either way, it was fun and I thought far better than last week.

Also, I need to listen to H.E.R. I really dug those musical performances.

I thought it was fairly good episode, at least in that it was better than the first three. I loved Adele's Bachelor sketch just for giving her a chance to sing. The Africa sketch was bad but Adele couldn't keep a straight face, making it a fun watch. Her monologue was forgettable other than the clips of her cursing at Glastonbury Weekend Update was fine. I watched H.E.R. solely on the comments above and was equally impressed.
John Mulaney hosts next week, I'm looking forward to that one. The three episodes he's hosted have all been among the high water marks for their seasons. Being Halloween could help, too.
The political cold open sketches have not stood out at all. I'm not going to miss them.
The schedule has been a little odd. Five straight new episodes to start the season and before the first break the weekend *after* the election?

This came up randomly on Youtube the other day...these were my prime SNL years yet I have no memory of this reoccurring character

My god. Watching that just makes everything better.

The current cast has so little talent to so many of these past greats.
