IDLES never miss but that show on Saturday night was something else.

Earlier today I bought a Sunday, July 20 ticket to the Minnesota Yacht Club festival. Green Day is headlining. Haven’t seen them since the Nimrod tour. Garbage is the main draw for me. Never seen them or Sublime, 311, or Semisonic. Should be a fun summer day.

Seeing Real Estate tonight. Kind of a last minute decision.

I originally bought tix for MJ Lenderman, also playing tonight…with Wild Pink.

I saw Real Estate back when they toured for Atlas. haven’t really kept up with their output since, but my wife has never seen them, so eating the cost of the Lenderman tix.

Lenderman is kind of at his peak now, while Real Estate are playing this tiny venue, which is also kind of cool. Anyway, Lenderman is coming back to OK in September, but a little further away, so we’ve opted for that instead.
