I thought a bit on how to respond to this, but I don’t think I can. If I respond “you’re wrong” then I am asserting there is some acceptable level of suicide inducing harm against this community and I am thus complicit in violence against them. I would assume the role of oppressor and would be punching down. If I respond “you’re right” then I have agreed that censoresque intervention is required for speech. I surrender agency and acknowledge others must as well. This is the trap, right?

Despite that this turned out just like that “justice for Jan 6th” rally, a media fueled nonevent where the press outnumbered the protesters 5:1, there were many celebrity endorsers of this protest… and most were tweets quoting Preston. You tell a lot about a group by who they choose as their leaders
