At the moment they're both feeling fine, but I'm a little worried about my Dad. He had lung cancer last year. He had part of a lung removed and went through a light chemo regimen.

Last time he saw the doctor his immune system was getting back to normal, so hopefully that combined with being vaxxed will see him through.

Sorry, Juan. This will be a anxious time, but hopefully (like you said) they'll have manageable go of it.

My mom got Covid a few months back, towards the tail end of her cancer treatment for lymphoma. We were nervous, too, since often it starts mild and then gets worse. Luckily all she had was some sniffles and minor headache. I've heard these new variants don't go after the lungs the way older ones did, but who knows. Hope he's ok.
