That’s it too. It’s like they’re competing. Why put them together?? Especially when the back end Is relatively slow

Just a guess, but they sound a bit like musical outliers on this album. So, get them out in front first.

IMO, the album's cohesiveness in terms of mood/vibe/theme,etc starts with DOTC. It would have been nice to have something to break up the end of this album a bit more.

Comes Then Goes would have made an excellent closer, as well.

Hm, I hear more dad-ish rock songs on Avocado, BS, and LB than those 2. And, these guys are basically granddads now.

Just mentioned this in another thread but the album would be stronger IMO if you basically cut Never Destination...would also let Take The Long Way stand out more. ND is probably my least favorite on the album.

Think I agree with all of this.

I would take Never Destination and Take the Long Way over SBWM and Who Ever Said in a heartbeat.

Make SBWM the b-side to the first single.

Who Ever Said is light years better than Never Destination. Take the Long Way doesn't click with me, but I admit I'm not a big fan of Matt songs most of the time.
