I would have thought the Congressional Democratic leadership wouldn't be stupid enough to agree to deal that puts the next debt limit fight in the middle of a potential Democratic president's first term. But I should never underestimate the stupidity of the Democratic Congressional leadership.

It's not really about sides, it's just politics as usual.

For some context on length:
Let’s go from the smallest to the largest.
4-5inch – COCKTAIL STRAWS These are the tiny straight or bent straws for your fancy drink.
7-8.5inch – STANDARD STRAWS These is the standard size of reusable straw size sold. Only suitable for small to medium sized glasses.
10.5inch – LONG STRAWS This is the longest size of straw that is typically available.
The straws are not recyclable. No straw is. They're too small.

This drops on Netflix tonight. All about Cambridge analytica and Aaron banks and dark money that hacked brexit and elected trump. Banks is trying to sue Netflix over it. That alone makes me want to watch.

I’m very pleased with how Mueller has carried himself thus far, and today’s no exception. He’s not taking any bait on partisan narrative spinning, and generally doubling down on “the report speaks for itself,” which will go a long way with the more informed independent voters.

Yeah, I would assume there is some risk if he says the wrong thing he could compromise future prosecution right? Seems smart to just keep repeating "RTFMR".

I’m assuming the Republican rushed questioning early on was about creating soundbites of Mueller asking for repeats or sounding confused, so it’ll be interesting to watch for that angle to pop up.
Democrats, sadly, seem to want some meteoric burst of a moment that opens the door to impeachment...or which frames the president's behavior with perfect clarity, so they can capitalize on public realization. The reality is that his public actions were often nakedly obstructive, and by endlessly begging someone else to explain that in dull, pontification-laden hearings they only manage to make the obscene and deranged seem unremarkable and tedious. And themselves ineffective.

They definitely ensured that the American people understand that the report they didn't read speaks for itself.

Heard someone earlier saying this hearing is pointless to which the reply was you can’t get Americans to read the book but they will watch the movie.
Just a matter of seeing how this is all spun and edited and warped out of context by certain outlets.
