Damnit, Eddie, you have totally puss-ified me with this song. There's literally parts where by body can't NOT get chills and my eyes tear up, every listen!

This is such a weird album. Getaway, MYM, Sirens, Lightning Bolt, Let the Records Play, and Swallowed Whole are all pretty different songs.

They do flow together nicely, but that doesn't mean anything yet since we're missing the tracks in between



I just gave sirens a listen and L-bolt came on after. Fuck I love that song

Anyone know if you get a digital download of the album on release day if you pre-ordered the album through Pearl Jam website? I'm not actually a 10C member.

I was hoping the tracklist would be as schizophrenic as a good PJ / BO'B needs to be. Trying to make an album with this band and that producer stylistically consistent is always going to fail. They needed to go over the top with a mishmash of styles, and it looks like they have.

Sirens is the first time I couldn't be bothered listening to a new Pearl Jam single all the way through. I gave it a minute and a half and then thought to myself if I heard this song on the radio and had no idea who the band was I would have changed stations ages ago. It sounds like it should be in a Grey's Anatomy soundtrack or something similarly bland.

Funnily enough, whatever was lacking emotionally about LB and SW gets ramped up to 11 after Sirens has gone before it. IF you buy into 'Sirens', of course...
