He won't be impeached this close to the election. Because if this go south that is a huge push for all the MAGA folks to show up and reelect him. They'll either pursue charges if he isn't reelected, or wait until he is for impeachment

I think there's a good case to be made for launching an impeachment right before the election too, so that daily revelations (or repeated headlines of stuff we already know) are front-and-center as people go to the polls.

Impeachment should definitely be in the table. Headlines front and center for those Americans who were in the fence and voted for him the first time.
