Okay Mr. "Surrounded by Wokes," I'll translate your comment
"How silly to think that we want to undo things...
...Still, it's probably time for an undoing."

Kamala Harris has wiped out Donald Trump’s lead across seven battleground states, as the vice president rides a wave of enthusiasm among young, Black and Hispanic voters, according to the latest Bloomberg News/Morning Consult poll.
Harris was backed by 48% of voters to 47% for Trump — a statistical dead heat — in the swing states that will likely decide November’s election. That’s a stronger showing than the two-point deficit for President Joe Biden before he dropped out of the race. The Democratic vice president overtook her GOP rival in Arizona and Nevada, and more than doubled Biden’s lead over Trump in Michigan.

TBH until late June I had pretty much come to accept the thought of Trump’s second term, it’s somehow more nerve wracking now that the Democrats have a plausible path to victory.

“They called us weird so I’ll call them weirder,” said Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), according to an X post — but “weird” is an insult that doesn’t work both ways. Gay kids, trans kids, cat ladies and horse boys have already spent an entire lifetime being told they were weird, and they have learned to wear it as a badge of honor if they need to. But when your whole political movement is based on a return to some “Pleasantville” vision of American normalcy, “weird” actually hurts. It’s not great to wonder whether, in the eyes of your fellow citizens, you’re just kind of ... lame.

"Lame" is an ablest slur. It's weird they dont know that.

sounds like the 'childless' part of the 'childless cat lady' thing that Vance said is a theme
he bashes 'childless' people a lot
my guess is that there are childless voters who might be important to swing states on the margin
i am not a mathematician though
perhaps insulting them is not a good idea

Yeah, certainly a weird political stance to take.

If I understand that correctly it is now 48 to 47 in favor of Harris (over Trump) and previously is was, what, 48 to 46 in favor of Trump (over Biden).
Wild swing.

It is, given that Biden only ended his presidential race ten days ago and Harris is yet to formally secure the party's nomination.
Imagine how things might change once both nominees start conducting debates, talking policy, etc.
