Yeah, check it out. It's definitely geared more to the DJ set, but the selection is decent. I picked up the remix of In Utero there in September, months after it was released. They seemed to still have most of the RSD releases still on the shelves.

Oh and Housing Works in Chelsea carries used records, cheap too.

Listened to a couple of Wilco records on repeat this weekend - the Nonesuch reissues of Being There and Summerteeth. I'm not sure what the original pressings sound like, but I thought both these records sounded amazing and were dead quiet and flat right out of the jacket. You can't say that about too many new records these days. I guess I'm just going to have to complete the whole Wilco collection now.

been spining a Ghost is Born and it sounds fantastic. I believe it has to be a reissue? I hadn't seen this cover before. The one with a bird nest. So...

According to Discogs there is only the original pressing of AGIB from Nonesuch and it has the birds nest instead of the egg. One place I read said there were only 2,500 copies made, but I'm not sure if that's reliable.

I know Bond was selling some of his records on the classified section of that site. Anyways, I tried to register last week and they never seem to validate new user registrations so I can't post or anything. Just wondering if anyone had the same experience.

Summerteeth and A Ghost Is Born have been on my wantlist for a long time, but I've never seen a price that's super "pull the trigger!" Maybe soon, but I've pre-ordered a lot of stuff lately.

Finally moved into my own place, first thing I did was buy a record player. Now I'm trying to build my collection. In the last 2 weeks I've picked up:

Bruce Springsteen - Wrecking Ball
Ed Sheeran - X
Eddie Vedder - Into The Wild
Gaslight Anthem - Get Hurt
Pearl Jam - Binaural
Pearl Jam - Avocado

And about an hour ago I ordered REM Unplugged '91 and '01 set so I'm pretty stoked about that.

I already had a bunch of records before I bought the player. Most of Springsteen's albums, Lightning Bolt, Vs, Vitalogy, a couple of Michael Jackson albums, a couple from The Who etc

Any recommendations in terms of records that have particularly good sound quality? I'm willing to give anything a try. Gonna order Gaslight Anthem's Handwritten tomorrow. And I'm still looking for No Code, Yield, and Riot Act.

Did you stumble across those two PJ albums, or shell out some bucks for them on ebay?

I spent a long time looking. Binaural is my favourite and I have a soft spot for Avocado so paid a bit more than I would've liked!

I didn't realize PJ albums on vinyl were so hard to come by. I have all of them just hanging out on my shelf

I was always a nerd on release day and would get the vinyl just because. Paid off, I guess.

You might want to hang on at this point. It's highly likely that we see more vinyl reissues for the post-Vitalogy albums in the near future. I'm not basing this on anything, other than the band's need to sell something in-between new albums.
