"The End" is a great, incredibly sad song; lovely
the brass section and all the orchestration in this song is so very tasteful I'm AMAZED they make so many bad production decisions
it's such a weirdly down ending to a bright album but I like it a lot

I mostly like the slower atmospheric songs on this more than its attempts to rawk; The Fixer and AtW are exceptions to that (though arguably TF is more fun 80s punk pop than Rawk, and I've always said AtW is island-groove-laden surf rock more than it is an attempt to recapture "Alive")
