Doing a bunch of sims of games it looks like they are going with Troy Percival, Dotel, Uehara and Chapman (save situations) with games on the line. I will take it.

Yes sir. It's a big part of the reason I tried to draft guys that can play multiple positions (miggy, zobrist, gordon, arod, etc). It doesn't seem like its going to work, but it sure was fun!
I was planning on setting up my bench to be able to bring in some platoon matchups, but I only have two lefties in my lineup. Walker crushes everyone, so he doesn't need a platoon, and Sizemore would ideally be platooned. Then I forgot what I was doing and drafted two lefty outfielders for my bench to pretty much completely ruin that plan.

Good for Sizemore doing well in Philly with all the injuries he is going through. I'd love to see the Rangers take a chance on him on a 1-2 year deal.

Mine always seems to have Quantrill in there, which I can't say I'm a big fan of. As good as he was for a few years, he's not in the same league as my main guys.

I will go ahead and start the play-in series between me and 4/5 shortly so we can get things rolling.

As for things we can control/change within the simulation, there's really nothing beyond the lineups and rotation, as far as I can tell (at least within the free uses available).

Anyways, my rotation for the play-in series is...

1 - David Price
2 - Esteban Loaiza
3 - Barry Zito
4 - Johnny Cueto

My lineup for game one is gonna be...

1. Mike Trout - CF
2. Buster Posey - C
3. Frank Thomas - 1B
4. Josh Hamilton - LF
5. Adrian Beltre - 3B
6. Miguel Tejada - SS
7. Jeff Kent - 2B
8. Jose Bautista - RF

4/5, I love the optimism of your username. :-)

Your lineup is great.

For the first round are we doing 5 or 7 game series? I know it's probably been answered but too lazy to look and I'm working. Get back to work, everybody!

We're gonna do 7 game series for all of them. We'll probably run more games per day for the play-in round just so that everyone else isn't sitting around waiting for their series to start. Once we get to the first round, I'm thinking of just doing one per day (unless everyone else wants to do more).

I'm cool dragging it out some. Kind of builds the suspense. I'm up for it.

It won't keep track of stats, will it? They're just individual games?

No, it won't, but since we're doing a tempered roll-out, we can keep track of them.

Actually, there's gotta be a site where I can just enter in the box scores for each game and it'll keep the stats compiled. I'll see if I can find one.

I have never been to a show of that genre. No idea what to expect. I will probably be out of place age wise but I'm expecting it to be a blast.
