The entire appeal of this project is "dudes it's gonna be star wars." They could post a picture of Harrison Ford doing a thumbs up*, and the internet would get diarrhea.
* This is not meant to imply that Harrison Ford ever gets excited, about anything or anyone.

The charm and magic of Star Wars did not much survive my youth, but I'm not prepared to say fully that I can blame the prequels for that. I'm more inclined to blame internet culture, and its Star Warsing of everything.

I can't believe I'm more on McP's side in this whole thing. But I want to be a strat. I'm going to make an effort to be a strat. Seems healthier somehow.

Look, obviously this movie isn't going to forever change cinema and cement star wars in the upper echelon of story telling but I can bet it's gonna be a lot of fun and might actually be a decent movie.

How did he make the airplane interrogation scene in that Mission Impossible turkey seem so emotional and tense, and then fail so hard with almost the exact same setup in Star Trek?
