What? You couldn't buy that Micheal Douglas would throw his marriage away for this?

Why would it break your heart? That seems... dramatic.
Maybe you should fuck off. Because if hat's your stance, you're not only a liar but also a heartless shithead and a coward. Fuck you.

Agreed. Riot Act is just the worst.

well, the script is not good. Its merely ok although i do like how the handle Michael Douglas's character. But Lyne directs this thing so fucking well. The pace, the menace, all the close shots. Its so fucking well done.

Lyne is such a strange director. Hyper stylized, but weirdly so, I would say? Jacob’s Ladder is the only one of his movies that has really worked for me. I wish he did more horror.

Oh yeah, he is so fucking weird!!! But i love his weirdness. Makes him unique in a way.

There is a scene in Fatal Attraction thats more WTF than the entire movie. Its Douglas and Close running with his dog in the park, like maniacs, falling over and almost fighting.

I'm done with Wes Anderson I think. I was bored to death.
The trailer bored me so I'm not going anywhere near the actual film.

Watched Pacific Rim: Uprising. There were too many times where there were jokes where they shouldn't be and then serious moments where they shouldn't be...just a weird mis-mash of scenes. That said I liked the actual story, I just wish there were a better movie there.

Maybe you can’t make it work because you are stuck in a Jacob’s Ladder scenario
