second, yes, i had it, but my work computer went on the fritz and i wanted it for my personal computer. don't @ me.
so the head of our IT department lives about 30 minutes from me in naperville. i went to his house today. he came out wearing rubber gloves, set a box down, and i got out of my car carrying a work computer, and i took the computer out of the box and set mine in, and we never said a word to each other (all half joking but half serious).E.H. Quick Escape is going to blow your fucking mind. Forget best Pearl Jam song in 20 years, it's the best rock song in god knows how long.Bammer wrote:Haven’t listened yet but I like this notion of Jeff putting his foot down

I never did that!darthvedder81 wrote:Remember how we all skipped past songs like "Present Tense" or "Low Light" or "Sleight of Hand" or "Army Reserve" to get to the "rockers" on those albums. Then we went back and were like "Holy shit those may actually be the best songs on there". Yeah, Gigaton has at least three songs like that.
You heard it right away. Good on you man!cutuphalfdead wrote:No.darthvedder81 wrote:Remember how we all skipped past songs like "Present Tense" or "Low Light" or "Sleight of Hand" or "Army Reserve" to get to the "rockers" on those albums.

This is happening to me, too. I barely listened to it over the past month, and I'm certainly not skipping it just to get to the new, unfamiliar stuff. But when I just think generally about how surprised I am by the whole thing, the "Oh, shit, and DOTC" thought comes a moment later.Strat wrote:I often times forget that Dance of the Clairvoyants is on this album. I don't want to listen to the album out of order yet, but this has tempted me.Farmer John wrote:I love listening to Alright and Buckle Up together.
Yeah, the chorus sounds straight out of Ten to me. That was my first thought the first moment I heard it, and at first I didn't trust what I was hearing.dimejinky99 wrote:I’m not bored of saying it but if you told me quick escape was an old demo they found from 90 and just re recorded it I would believe you.
It’s got that big soaring clashing thing like breath goin on
