ok, i saw that friends special. Yeah, my girl wanted to see it. It wasnt so bad, even if i didnt cared that much about the series. Corden was awful as always but the cast seemed super genuine about their feeling for each other.

Also Perry looks awful, really fucked up.

supposedly he had emergency dental surgery hours before the special was recorded. sounds like he’s back on the pills to me.

The next one of you that says any variation of "my girl wanted to watch it" is dead to me.

Not that any of y'all care.

I know, the selective history is abominable; the show was basically Nippleodeon for quite a while, men tuned in.

edit: And you're not sorry.

Legit question: do not ever watch something your wife wants to watch yet you really have no desire to? (Full disclosure, I would’ve definitely watched the Friends Reunion even if Mrs Wease didn’t want to. I just wasn’t so adamant about when.)

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

My wife sold me on The Queen's Gambit, of which I was skeptical, but ultimately really glad I tuned in.

On rare occasions, I'll watch some episode of Housewives with her just to be amazed at the world.
would you watch downton abbey with her?

What?

If you're asking if I've ever watched something my wife wanted to watch but I didn't... Well, no. There's never been a thing my wife wanted to watch that I wasn't into. I'm up for whatever.

As far as the Friends Reunion goes though, we both were VERY excited to watch that.
