Super Bowl XXIII
Montana’s legacy is cemented. Rice is the MVP in his first SB appearance. John Taylor makes the winning catch in what at the time was the best Super Bowl ever played.

The ‘89 Niners still rank among the best NFL teams of all time, if not THE best. Denver never knew what hit ‘em.
F’ the NFL for disabling the videos to be viewed from other sites.

I have to spread the good mojo. Tomorrow’s gonna be a great game. I have no idea what’s gonna happen. 2 great teams. Hoping for a healthy game with no blown calls. I don’t want to lose because of injury, I don’t want to win because of injury. Don’t want to lose because of controversy, don’t want to win because of controversy.

Super Bowl XXIX
Steve Young gets the monkey off his back, becoming the only player to throw 6 TD’s in a Super Bowl. The record still stands.

This is an interesting take/prediction to me and so I wanted to look into it.
In Patrick Mahomes' 35 games as a starter, here is a list of the times the Chiefs have scored 10 or fewer points in a game:
Yeah, don't read too much into that prediction. I had a terrible year against the spread this year.
I was thinking about last year's Super Bowl....no one would have predicted such a low score. Just have a feeling this doesn't go the way most people think. I dunno. I'll stick w/ it for fun.

Totally agree.
And I think my post came off as snarky but I was being genuine. Like I said before I was an 9er fan growing up. I actually do love seeing all these posts.
Best of luck today. Let's have a good clean game and enjoy the hell out of this!

Oh totally. These games get squirrelly all the time and crazy stuff happens. Your post just made me curious so I looked it up. I was actually surprised to see that they've never scored fewer than 13 with Mahomes. Which is nuts to me. Doesn't mean today won't be the first. But I hope you're wrong, obviously.

Ngl, I hope Andy Reid runs this play as an homage to the ‘69 Chiefs, and responds just like Hank Stram.
I can’t figure out how to embed images. Someone should post the pic of Len Dawson smoking a cigarette at half time of Super Bowl I. https://images.app.goo.gl/uCbD9Bhe7b6bejoD7
