F-it. I preordered the transparent vinyl.

I went deluxe for the faggy stuff. Kind of sour I missed the catacombs vinyl, even though I didn’t like the tour.

New song is OK, but not setting my world on fire.

I guess it’s a “Yet More Songs About Josh’s Divorce”-type situation?

I dig the new tracks so far. Also been listening to ITNR more lately and that’s been sounding good.

This might be one of those minor records where the band clears the decks of old material.

Easy Street is OK, Insignificant Other is very respectable.

So the album is 6 new tracks. One ITNR outtake. One LC outtake and a re-recording from Post-Pop Depression.
Not sure if I would call it lazy, but yeah, this album was different in approach. It's loose, it's raw. Probably mostly recorded live instead of months of multitrack recordings and overdubs. QOTSA album are always really really produced and layered, this time it seems that they just went in to cut some songs. Finished some outtakes and called in an album. A palate cleanser if you will. And somehow thats exactly what I wanted from this band.

That is one handsome man.

New songs have been growing today for me. I like the laid out and relaxed vibe these two have and i listened to Sunday today and i kinda get why its been reworked for this album.

I don't have any issue with the inclusion of Sunday. The band has a long history of reworking material from other projects.

I dont have a problem but it is a bit of a letdown because its a short album and im not sure what else they can do or add to the Iggy tune.

I never got into that album so I’ve never heard that one.
