Is it a wild swing? Seems like wild swings are basically impossible these days. In a sane world, changing from a corpse to a living candidate would result in a truly huge swing against an unpopular candidate. But nothing seems to really move the needle these days. The polls have barely moved at all the whole election cycle, outside cherry picking a few polls. Outside of another small bump from the DNC/VP pick, I don't see much happening until the end of the election except a slow trickle up. But maybe the showrunners have some surprises cooked up for us!

it just goes to show you that you don't need 2 years of constant campaigning. other countries seem to do just fine with 2-3 months of campaigning, tops.

Any modern candidate should do everything in their power to prevent the voters from getting to know them. Getting to know these freaks can only lead to less support.

If there is one thing besides lying that you can count on Trump to do, it’s to never admit he’s defeated or wrong. If he dropped out, he’d be admitting both. Plus, he can’t risk not being able to pardon himself from all the crimes he’ll eventually be found guilty of.
