This is interesting. Both Whannel and Wan might be working on this in some capacity.

tonight I'm rewatching 28 Weeks Later, after doing 28 Days last week (obvs in preparation for Years)

still great, that opening is still peak terror; it's not quite 28 Days good but my adrenalin is going like the clappers so far, 8.5 / 10

I need to rewatch both, but i remember being more of a fan of 28 weeks later than the first one.

Ill watch the new one this week

28 Weeks was the first one I saw, so I have a bias towards it in a way, but I just think Days is a better / less messily structured film (I'll always go for streamlined over "epic"); I really loved the contrast between comically gung-ho action Americans and ordinary Brits though

and someone even says "IT'S JUST A FLESHWOUND", which is gold

i remember the first one being very hyped because it was Boyle kinda shooting it on a very low budget. Like his return to its roots or something. Te whole Iphone thing.

Seems the new one has a lot of that, so im very curious to see it.

28 Years Later??? 28 Tears Later more like! I was in floods of tears through 2/3rds of it

absolutely fucking spellbinding and beautiful filmmaking, 10/10

I loved this thing so, so very much

I'm putting my faith in Nia DaCosta to bring The Bone Temple home because I NEED this trilogy completed

the sound was too quiet in my screen, so it wasn't nearly as visceral and intense as 28 Weeks, but that's much better for my nervous system so... I'll crank it up when it's on my TV

Is Nia behind the two new movies?

She is a great director, very happy she is behind the next one

she's doing The Bone Temple, then Boyle and Garland are returning to the third film if the first two made enough money I guess

Nice! I heard Bone Temple is already finished and premieres in January, so yes...it will be a success. This new one is already a hit too.

Im going to see it on monday i guess.

28 Years Later.

I liked it a lot. Looks stunning really. Very cool framing too. Boyle hasnt lost his touch.
Spoiler: show
i was very pleased with the twist of Fiennes being actually a doctor and being super sane and sensitive.
