This is fucking crazy. The shots of the crowd are such a time capsule.

And Mirror Ball hadn't even come out yet (it would 3 days later).

More importantly, I was only 17 days away from my first PJ show. :bammer:

Mine was Milwaukee night 2!

Also why did they edit out the part where ed says goodbye?

1. :bammer: :bammer: :bammer: :bammer: :bammer: :bammer: :bammer: :bammer:

2. I don't know but can only make an educated guess that Brendan O'Brien had something to do with it.

Jeff & Stone with Green River in 1985/86

Matt Cameron with Skin Yard in 1986

Jeff & Stone with Mother Love Bone in 1987

Eddie with Bad Radio playing Betterman in 1989

It's remarkable how fully-formed that song was before Pearl Jam got their hands on it.

the ultimate show i want to see surface is that slim's show in may 1993 after they just finished recording vs. lot's of easter eggs in the show, including the first live performance of better man.

tragabigzanda wrote:It was a one-off studio session pulled together by Ed and a radio DJ (Birdman) after a night of drinking. Birdman called a bunch of musicians, they kept partying, and just let the tape roll. Was verboten to talk about these sessions on the Pit, so copies were traded via PM. I'm not sure if I have these digitally? I can look later, but it should be easy enough to find a download somewhere.
Cool, thanks. Listening to it on Youtube should do for now. I'm enjoying this version of Creep.
