this is the world I live in right now as a trans person under a cis-centric system that I have been forced to adopt; what I want is one in which everyone is free to define themselves

Burt, you can't say you empathise or sympathise with what's been wrong in my life if you don't acknowledge something has been wrong; just because a lot of people can say "well it's all working fine for me", doesn't mean nothing needs to change
