I have updated my lineups for both sides in whatif.

Rotation is as follows now
Gooden
Caldwell
Niekro
Reuschel

Doesn't bump anyone, just subs out some underperformers.

The worst part is that its not like anyone is tearing it up against the guys they SHOULD be tearing it up against based on platoon splits, so making adjustments is just an absolute shot in the dark without alex avila to throw in there.

I'll be giving Charles Nagy a start soon, but I'll have to up date my stats tomorrow to see how to work him in. So for now I guess I'll still with the scheduled Blyleven/Richard for tomorrow's game.

What I'm trying to say is pay no attention to anything you've just read because it means nothing.

I've had the same problems. I got big games from all three of my platoon guys against your lefty today, but it was the first time any of them did anything so far.

It's gonna get ugly in here when during the pay-in tournament someone else takes Alex Avila in like round eleven.

My only two players who have been disappointing so far are Mattingly and Canseco, but I don't think either of them are playing crappy enough to give up on them after 12 games. Though, Jack Clark and Rico Carty doing really well as pinch hitters and playing the same positions as those two does make the decision a little tougher...

I'm going to switch my catcher from Simmons to Pudge for the next couple of days. Simmons is only hitting .244/.271/.289, yikes. I'll also give under-performing 1b Cecil Cooper the day off, to get Carew's six errors off of second base and give Steve Sax some hacks.

lineup for tomorrow, as changed in whatif:
1 Tim Raines CF
2 Ozzie Smith SS
3 Albert Belle LF
4 Mike Schmidt 3B
5 Bobby Murcer RF
6 Rod Carew 1B
7 Ivan Rodriguez C
8 Steve Sax 2B

in other news, Albert Belle is tearing the cover off the ball: .300/.352/.700 with 5 HR and 14 RBI.
and Fernando Valenzuela is 3-0 with a 1.88 ERA, a 0.96 WHIP, and 25 Ks in 24 innings pitched.
