I'm watching that. My favourite episode I think

Baskets on FX. Pretty funny. You can feel Louis CK all over it. First EP of the new season of Portlandia was a let down.

my favorite show is Extreme Homes.

Angie Tribeca. I laughed.

I'm really digging Angie Tribeca.

Also, watched the first episode of 'American Crime Story: The People v OJ Simpson' last night. Super melodramatic at times. Overly directed. But just like the actual trial, there's something gripping about it to me. I laughed a few times at things that I'm sure were unintentional. And David Schwimmer is.... just absurd as Robert Kardashian. But on the other side, Sarah Paulson is owning the fuck out of her turn as Marcia Clark. Just outstanding work.

The biggest thing about it is how much I remember, how ingrained the whole story is in my mind. It's so vivid in my memory. Iconic. Blond hair and a black dress and thoughts and feelings and sense memory just kicks into overdrive. It was such a pivotal moment in American history and it has stuck with me. It's fabric. I can't believe the emotions I felt, the resurrected feelings. It was so real to me again.

Sort of profound and a little frightening. As silly as I'm sure this series will end up being, it strikes a chord and I'm more invested in it than I want to be.

That's okay. There's a lot of other stuff to laugh at/about. It's a lot like the Naked Gun. Something's constantly going on to make you laugh even if you find one component tired or unfunny.

Watching Better Call Saul. I was hooked after the first episode, but the second episode is kinda lame. The Tuco episodes were always the weakest.

I was a little worried by all the nods to Breaking Bad in the first two episodes, but that calms down a lot after ep2. Great first season.

Watched the first 2 eps of Mad Dogs on Prime. Really enjoying it so far. Great cast. Its very dark, funny, has great visuals, and looks like it will be exploring the depths of the characters on the show.

Can't say this really grabbed me. It feels over dramatic and REALLY over acted. I find John Travolta to be really distracting too

I can't disagree with what you're saying. It is overly dramatic and over acted (by most involved). But I think that's part of the point. Ryan Murphy is emphasizing the soap opera/zeitgeist/campy quality of the actual events. It was that dramatic here in the States as we watched in real time. It was the first ever "reality tv program" that captured the nation. And emotions were high and raw on on display during the whole thing. It's stylized purposefully and really on point as far as all of that goes.

But I totally get being turned off by it. It's normally not the kind of thing I would like. I'm surprised I'm so drawn to it, truthfully.

yeah the first few episodes were shaky but its gotten a lot better. Odenkirk is so good in this, too.
