Well, pretty much. What else were you thinking mattered? Nothing outside of your own opinion, surely?
In reality, it's our opinions that don't matter a bitharmless wrote:Well, pretty much. What else were you thinking mattered? Nothing outside of your own opinion, surely?

I love how the keyboard is totally wrong on the last bar.Mike wrote:I hope SBM will sound like this.
Was that trying to be a compliment?Revelator wrote:There is absolutely no amount of cheese in Sirens greater than the cheese spewed by BoB's keyboard on Future Days at Wrigley.

Yeah, I tried. Basically I feel Sirens is far more interesting than Future Days, for lack of a better word. That, and I still can't stand the version of FD at Wrigley.harmless wrote:Was that trying to be a compliment?Revelator wrote:There is absolutely no amount of cheese in Sirens greater than the cheese spewed by BoB's keyboard on Future Days at Wrigley.
No I mean I totally love it. Made me laugh my ass off.Mike wrote:Whoops.harmless wrote:I love how the keyboard is totally wrong on the last bar.Mike wrote:I hope SBM will sound like this.

It's horrible. I think there's a nice song underneath and the studio version will hopefully show it off, but playing it live at Wrigley with BO'B was one of the worst decisions this band has ever made. Except for maybe re-hiring BO'B in the first place.Revelator wrote:Yeah, I tried. Basically I feel Sirens is far more interesting than Future Days, for lack of a better word. I love folky stuff and I love the song, so I have some hope -- even if it's sanitised folk like Mumford.Revelator wrote:harmless wrote:It's horrible. Trying to remain somewhat optimistic about SBM, too, even though it's inclusion still mystifies me.
