Top 20 for me.

So much heart.
Beautifully shot.
Killer score/soundtrack.
Fantastic performances.
Perfect blend of genres.

Eternal Sunshine is one of those movies that I liked in high school but have absolutely zero interest in ever revisiting

Loved the premise, some great moments, but overall just OK.

Annihilation. I had heard good things but never got into it and was mostly bored.
I loved Eternal Sunshine, I'd rank among my favorite movies of the '00s and Charlie Kaufman's high point (won Screenplay Oscar) but haven't watched in a while either. Slow start but fantastic once it gets going.

Pretty much. Bonus: say the title slowly.

Watched Imperium last week. Very strange opening scene, though I loved the part where he's talking to the guy in the interrogation room. I remember that case somewhat, I wonder how it was taken care of? Seems like entrapment but what do I know.

The movie proper was pretty good. It definitely showed how wide and varied the people who join these groups are. I did appreciate how they showed the punks side and just ramped up from there, showing how while the ones who are in your face are violent, that's all they are. The next level are the ones who do actual prepping but will probably only make plans until the end of time. It's the ones with the means who are the scary ones. They don't rely on anyone other than themselves and some close compatriots.

Christopher Robin. Adorable stuff.

Saving Private Ryan. Good time for a rewatch. Just off band of brothers a while back. I like tom Hanks in this. Words I never say.

Just saw 2001 in IMAX. Can confirm Christopher Nolan and his gross color timing are not involved in the new digital restoration. :hooray:

Definitely looked great but the 2K projector limitations were frustrating. Can’t wait to see it in its full glory at home. That scene where HAL is being disconnected is stunning; all those contrasting colors and lights. Damn.

I've still never seen 2001. I keep gearing myself up to watch it but never pull the trigger. I don't know what's stopping me.
