Marc Maron just did a discussion with an author named Dale Beran, who's written a book called It Came From Something Awful. Really interesting examination of how these guys who grew up on 2Chan, otaku culture, etc suddenly found themselves rudderless amidst various leadership shakeups, and ripe for the taking for Bannon, Spencer, Yiannopoulos. Filled in a lot of info between Pepe the Frog and the Tiki Torch idiots, and Marc had surprisingly done his homework on this one. Good talk.
