were you worried they might be flowers? is that not masculine enough for you?
Oranges grow on stems? Come on, dad.

Describe your favorite necktie.
you're doing a lot of unnecessary overtime here, bub.
It’s called content creation and RM needs it. You knew what you were doing making sure those socks were in the frame.

washing machine wrote:My 93 year old grandma who lives in an assisted living place had a wild hair to cook some old recipes today, so my dad was going to pick her up and bring her to his house where I would meet them and help cook.

Well, now he's over at her place and I'm here at his place but she's not feeling up for the drive across town, so I find myself in my parents' kitchen in front of three different pots with three different bags labeled with ingredients.

Fun morning of cooking ahead. I'll portion and deliver these soups to her when I'm done I guess.
This ended up working out well. Dad and grandma made it back and we had a grand old time in the kitchen.

My grandma can't really move around too much or hear that well, but it was special having her walk through these recipes her way. She may not be able to cook anymore, but she sure is a good boss in a kitchen. We did an 8x batch each of her tortellini soup, some taco stew, and this smothered chicken thing she likes.

Trying out a low-carb & intermittent fasting thing. Waiting 30 more minutes for my first meal of the day. This is really good for my health but kinda difficult.

16-8 worked well for me over the pandemic to avoid weight gain. The first few days are easy, the next two weeks are hard, then you forget why you were even eating breakfast.

yeah, just because the dr. is actually a chiropractor who believes bread gives children autism, doesn't mean the method isn't good

i ate early at 10:30 today.. but i'm still making massive progress, not allowing myself to eat more than 2 times a day with no snacking, and only healthy food.. still drinking beer, but this is still progress
