the countries we're looking at are Portugal (probably Lisbon), Switzerland, Amsterdam, Netherlands, and Germany.

should we just visit another city in France instead, or hit up another one in a different country?
yeah, come back to Paris. Its a gorgeous place with so much to do. And you can ditch all the museums and stuff and just enjoy the place, walk around.

Also Lisbon is beautiful. And if you want beach you have Cascais very close. Amsterdam is another must.
Lisbon and Paris it is. We’ve already booked an Airbnb in Paris - same one we stayed in. Looking at places in Lisbon now and they’re all very inexpensive…and nice!

Copious amounts of lobster and oysters in Portland resulted in the conception of my child.

Maine is great. North Shore here in MN is very similar.

Wease, Geddy’s in Bar Harbor.

My 49th will either be Alaska or Delaware. Stuck on 48 for the foreseeable future.

I’ll be hitting MN and WI next year.

It will be a real effort to get to several others like SD, ND, ME, NH, VT, MS, AR …

The places I haven’t been that I really do want to see are NC (long layover in Charlotte airport doesn’t count), SC, GA, WY and will get there for sure at some point.

Technically I have been to TN but need to go back and spend more time. I also want to see a lot more of MT.
