Or better yet, I say we model after the Bigs and have a one game play-in!

Glad you caught that lol.
Unrelated note, are there box scores or stats we can see from the game?

I'll roll with my same lineup for Game 2.

Ron Washington resigned and I'm sad.

They are fantastic live.
Good deal. Not that I care if I'm out of place. Good to hear they are good live. I'm hoping Icky Blossoms open. They are a fun band in Omaha who sounds a lot like Chvrches.
Icky Blossoms would be a fantastic opener.
I saw them a few weeks ago at a festival. Good stuff but I want to see them at a smaller venue.

Yeah, click the link in the post with the score. It has box scores and a complete play-by-play. I'm also gonna keep the URLs for all of the box scores in the OP as well.

Good deal. I'll run the simulation for game two later tonight.

Awesome.
Sorry for peppering you with questions, but here's another:
Are we committed to this exact rotation for the full series? I'm fine committing to it for 4 games, but lets say you light up my #3 starter. There's no way I want him starting game 7, which he'd be scheduled to do. Can we tweak our rotation (in realistic ways only) mid-series?

You can change your rotation at any time. You just have to give your opponent enough time to change his lineup in response if he chooses to.

Good lord I had 4 guys get caught stealing. And you were up 1-0 after two batters!

I know there was discussion on this but I can't remember the result and don't want to sift through all these pages... what's the ruling on resting pitchers? Always four days between starts?

Three games in between starts, with each team allowed one opportunity to bring back a pitcher after two games.
So for example, if 4/5 is up 2-1 on me, he could bring back Maddux to pitch in game four to try to put me deep in the hole, but then he wouldn't be able to bring back a pitcher on two games rest for the rest of the tournament.

So there's no way to get Maddux a third start? Lol

Maddux lead off my 8th inning rally with a single. I knew I always loved that guy.

I'm hoping when we get to Coors Field for games three & four this turns into a home run derby.

I just had a 77-2 Three game series sweep of the 2003 Tigers!

I'm thinking my guys can knock Tim Hudson around in game four, but I'm worried Tim Lincecum might be capable of putting together a strong performance, even at Coors.

It's kind of addictive, this site, isn't it?

Very addicting!
BTW I could see Tim Hudson going yard in Coors. Guy could rake a little.
