It's been fun listening to every single dickhead with a microphone or a computer and no sense talk about the Falcons this year.
There are about 3 people in the nfl media who actually do any relevant work. #Draintheswamp.
It's shitty regurgitated articles and then complaining about accommodations at the Super Bowl. How the fuck do these people get jobs?

I guess I'll try and go back to ignoring all but the analytical articles like Barnwell. nothing to gain really and none of it matters. These folks barely even watch the games.

Imagine if he were actually ever healthy? He's ridiculous, so fun to watch. He's not even human at times. He's got the same traits as Lebron, a person that big is just generally not that coordinated or fast.

Not exclusive to NFL writers, baseball writers are by and large a disgrace as well. The Red Sox beat writers for example, have not broken a relevant story about a trade, FA signing or anything like that in years, but come out in full force to bitch and complain about a day game after a night game on the road.

So yeah; I'm going to be an anxious wreck by Sunday afternoon and pacing like a caged bear during the game. Like a lot of us I expect a close shootout.
Not that it will matter this post season but Atlanta's defense has improved to not awful. There's some green shoots of hope for the future.
I hope you win, Atlanta. But my experience has taught me that you won't. Fool me once, shame on you... and all that.
i will bet you 12k that the falcons win
No you won't.
why not?
You tell me.
i bet you another 12k i would
Fine, yes.
I bet you 24K.

The most impressive thing that the Falcons have done over the last year or two is make sure they're a team good enough to not hinge on the bones in one guy's foot. They have a pretty great roster at this point. Huge credit to their management and coaching.

Yeah I'm not sure why coach said that?
The No. 1 seed is one and done in the playoffs at home and the out is against GB, which in turn gets trounced by the No. 2 seed.

Robert Mayes of The Ringer dropped some great nuggets about visiting with the Falcons this year; I think it was in the pre-conference championship podcast. Worth a listen.

That's an excuse. Dallas was a No. 1 seed and should dictate the match-up and it beat GB in the regular season at GB.

if Falcons win, will the media blame Belichick for trading away Collins?
...cause you know, what the media thinks/does is all that really matters in life.........

Well, Dallas had the best regular season in the NFC over a grueling 16-game schedule, so really there's no reason for them to feel bad or for fans to care if they don't win the Super Bowl in the high-variance situation that is the playoffs. They're obviouslt the best.

It just reminds me of when the Bruins (NHL) won that stupid trophy for best record in the regular season and then lost in the first round. Just think you need to hold a team like Dallas accountable. It performed at a high level all season long and then took a dump at home in the playoffs after a bye. And then to see the team it lost to take another dump itself to the No. 2 seed.
I'd actually be pretty pissed if I was a Dallas fan. And I like Dallas. Bob Kraft leaned heavily on Jones when Kraft entered the league and I partially attribute some of NE's success to learning from and adapting some of Dallas' business and on-the-field work, dating back to the glory days of the 90s.
So at this point, I'm exiting the argument, but respect everyone's view points of view on this.
