It’s not gonna matter. He’ll deny it. Trump-fucks will just think it’s Democrats piling on him and love him even more. Congressional Republicans will believe it but will be to chickenshit to do anything about it and Trump will just sit there smiling knowing he got away with something else. God, I hate what this country has become.

Rudy says Trump trying to get dirt on Biden is something any good Patriot would do.

Yes, BUT, if this isnt what it appears it could be catastrophic for the blue team in the elections. Should probably let in the internal reviews complete before dragging it into the light before risking collusion 2.0.

Yeah, we really don’t want to risk that big uptick in popularity he swung by handling the scrutiny of an investigation responsibly.

We are talking about people who are still on the fence about Trump

We are talking about people who are still on the fence about Trump
1. No we aren’t. And there isn’t a lot of evidence they exist. In fact, research is pretty clear that while independent voter numbers are steadily climbing, those same “independent” voters are more and more consistently partisan in their voting habits....and less and less likely to ever hop party lines.

2. Neither Mueller nor Benghazi gave evidence that investigation backlash is a thing to worry over. In fact, looking at their internal polling data, Republican strategists determined that repeat Benghazi probes helped their performance in swing states.

3. Democratic leadership has a huge authenticity problem right now with its voters. Swept in on the promise of accountability, they’ve been tepid and pathetic. This is a big part of why the new guard has so much momentum within the party, and if Democratic leaders want to prevent that rebellion from exploding, they need to show that they are actually willing to commit to that accountability. If you prefer a Democrat party run by Joe Bidens and Chuck Schumers to one run by left idealists and youthful socialists, then you really want the former to pursue claims of this level of consequence. Looking like part of an elite establishment that dealmakes to avoid correcting itself is how republicans lost control to their own populist insurrection.

4. Every time someone who is prepared to go to the level of whistleblowing steps forward, they are replaced with a more obedient dog. If you catch a president attempting to extort a foreign power in exchange for election assistance and you do nothing, then you’re inviting them to try again...with the added reassurance that at least one human obstacle is no longer around to tattle.

1. This is 2016 exactly.

2. If anybody (including the White House) thinks that voters will respond to these tactics the way they did in 2016, they are stupid as hell. I include any and all “I just worry that...” fools in this assessment.

3. It’s gonna be funny when he made such a mess of himself trying to set this shit up, and Joe Biden isn’t even the nominee.

What is more of a possibility - Donald Trump being held accountable for his crimes by the democrats or pearl jam releasing a new album?

It’s probably more likely that Pearl Jam will attend a Nancy Pelosi fundraiser and play their new lead single “Waves of Freedom,” with an extended Phil Ochs coda, than that the Democrats will do their jobs.

I'd listen to Future Days on a 24/7 loop if it meant Trump would be removed from office/die/go to prison.

Little part of me going ‘this is it. This will take him down. Finally.’

Rest of me looking at Badas post and thinking yeah. Nothing will come of this.
