Ed sounds great live. I wonder if he has hired a vocal coach...or just started listening to one he already had.

A lot of the bad habits dropping away, the increased control, the subtle signs of a strength that really only comes from proper care.

Either that or the live cut was "cleaned up" afterwards.

Whoa, just heard it for first time. That was pretty fucking good IMO. Ed kills, loved from about 4:25 onward. Just loved it, call me a fanboi I guess.

I think it was cleaned up. It's definitely the studio version. No matter the case, this is better than the leaked version.

They dropped some of the double tracked vocals, if this is true.

So that video was pretty awesome, my appreciation for the song just catapulted up a few notches. Still having trouble with the music, but you can't help but see the beauty in the words and Ed's execution.

that makes no sense to me since the leak came from from an internet radio station. its gotta be the same. why would they give them an unfinished version

If it's not live, there are timing errors in the song I didn't hear before. And there are definitely double-tracked Ed's in the studio version that are left out here.

Oh, and Ed is pitchy on his last note going into the solo. That wasn't the case on the studio take (why would it be?).

Isn't it just possible that the video version is just a live version and the leaked version is the one that will appear on the album?

It's not the same version we heard yesterday.
