Fairly trust-worthy site. How often are they wrong about this stuff? Be interesting to see if this is how it really shakes out once we have the official liner notes.
A staggering lack of Stone Gossard (if true). Usually, I love his stuff. It's shocking to me that the song I like the least is a Gossard tune. That's stupid.

If he really is a long time fan who has sort of kept his love of the band low key, he was in a pretty good position to redirect them towards their strengths with this setup.

Seven O’Clock was written by the whole band. It was posted somewhere else. That’s the only change, I believe.

The fact that we're all loving the album based on a shitty quality leak lends itself to being an even better listen come Friday.
where are you seeing this? I don't see it on their twitter feed.
Love,
Ben

Any chance you remember where that was posted? What source?

I like half the album so I made it into a great EP:
1. Who Ever Said
2. Dance of the Clairvoyants
3. Quick Escape
4. Buckle Up
5. Take the Long Way
6. Comes Then Goes
Had they released that, I’d be thinking, “Holy shit, PJ is good again!”

this raises an interesting question. why do we think it will be released on streaming platforms? Thursday night at midnight? i've just assuming this would be an "after the kids are in bed and wife is asleep on couch" type experience on Friday night.

Honestly I kind of want them to release an instrumental version of the album as well

Yeah, I dig that a lot. I'd remove Buckle Up and put on Seven O'Clock or Alright, myself. But that's still a great little EP.

Oh man, now I've got myself all psyched that they'll use this time to record some more stuff using this futuristic new method. I'm sure Mike will announce an EP from his toilet any day now.
