Simple: those radio stations ripped the CD version and attempted to play it without permission. Only Sirius got the proper radio cut, and the band kept the 'live' version for themselves to make the video.

i have no idea, i havent listened to any of them, but if there are differences then i want to download them all so i have them for later.

so it sounds like the video is recorded live right? is the version played on PJ radio the same as the one in the video?

This song is stunning. Jesus, I didn't think they had THIS in them still.

I can't say for sure it was a live take. Also, yes, this version is of better sound quality than the leak I heard, and my reaction went from the Stip-like ??? to "I think I'm getting this." The video is very tastefully done. I had a chill here or there, so this song has got something going for it.

I stand corrected. Listening to it again sold me on it being live. As Larry David would say, "pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good"

The guitar solo is different. Its a different take. Probably live. Cause I hear matts vocals back there and boom is being monkey hands in a spot.

Yeah def prefer the video version over what leaked out. Hopefully the "video version" is part of the extra content for those who ordered through 10C or something.

It's a live take. There are artifacts in there, Ed is pitchy going into the solo, the drums screw up at the start, and several times when Ed sings you can hear the concussion of the inflectives.



Now, that's not to say that they didn't take the audio in and process it up to make themselves sound better.

So if the video is any indication, it looks like they're not doing a "shortened version" for the radio? Def a good thing, I can't see any parts worth cutting right now without fucking it up
