The video version is legit.

just go to pearl jam.comnightmareblack0206 wrote:PM?
Couldnt agree more.hlniv wrote:The sirius version sounded the same to me as the leaked version from yesterday. I downloaded the official audio from the PJ site that is available if you pre-ordered LB. Track length is 5:39. Same.
The audio from the video is very clearly different, and sounds like a live recording. At it absolutely kills. I have now gone from officially 100% hating this to officially 100% loving this tune. The live version pushed me over the edge. I've never had that kind of turnaround on a pearl jam song. ever.
I think there's two versions now. And only two

I don't mean I'm surprised, I just mean....why would you do that?

McParadigm wrote:It's a live take. There are artifacts in there, Ed is pitchy going into the solo, the drums screw up at the start, and several times when Ed sings you can hear the concussion of the inflectives.
Now, that's not to say that they didn't take the audio in and process it up to make themselves sound better.
I always feel like that picture is somehow insulting to people who live in group homes. Not sure what it is about it, but I always have this initial reaction of "Jesus, that's inappropriate."evenslow wrote:McParadigm wrote:I cannot fathom how a "let's make a video" live soundstage mix can sound so much better than the carefully crafted album mix.

Same as leaked version. Video is differentRevelator wrote:Fuck yeah, if you ordered through 10C, you can download a MYM/Sirens mp3/Lossless/FLAC, whatever your preference. Unfortunately I'm at work and can't download so I cannot tell you which version of Sirens it is (video or leaked version). Can someone confirm?
I almost jumped out of my chair when I started watching it and realising it was a different version than the radio/album(?) one. And I think I uttered a little scream of joy when Mike started his solo (and quickly switching his guitar made me smile). Also liked the smile shared between Ed and Mike. More highlights: Stone's expression in the beginning, Matt singing (and all of them singing at the end), Boom(!), the red and white lights. Incredible.evenslow wrote:seriously. a stadium power ballad without the bombast. who knew?HardTI wrote:This song is stunning. Jesus, I didn't think they had THIS in them still.

Tired of merely railing against religion, the band has now offered us a new one. All will be converted. Yes the shot of them all singing in the end was a big highlight for me. Very simple but incredibly well done video for this kind of song.enimmi wrote:I almost jumped out of my chair when I started watching it and realising it was a different version than the radio/album(?) one.
